HERZ-HIU Pressburg

Compact substation for drinking water systems and radiator heating utilising a countercurrent heat exchanger made of Cu/Ni brazed stainless steel. Central controller for hot water only operates as a pressure drop is detected when a hot tap is opened. Assembly is available in surface-mounting or flush-mounted versions. Pipe connection to an HIU is realised by means of a patented mounting system with pre-mounting unit. This unique installation system saves the installer the often complicated and time-consuming calibration and adjustment measures required on existing (pre-) installations. Ball valves can be connected optionally to the wall or to the floor. Pipe connection is realised by means of ball valve with T-handle. Balancing valve for regulating the water flow rate is installed before station’s enter.

  • Safety against scalding by integrated HERZ-thermostatic mixing valve.
  • Differential pressure controller with fixed DP fitted on the heating circuit can be operated as a zone valve with a thermo electric drive for regulating the room temperature.
  • Adaptor for cold water meter
  • Adaptor for heat meter
  • Strainer with fine-mesh screens for heating systems on the supply primarypipe and return secondary pipe.
  • Hot water priority, is achieved by isolating the primary flow to the heating when a hot tap is opened.
  • Max. operating temperature 90 °C
  • Max. operating pressure 10 bar
  • Min. static cold water pressure 2.8 bar
  • Tap output 15 l/min (10/52 °C)
  • Heat exchanger output 35 kW
